Client: UNODC – United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime
Project: Ministry of Health – Aids Portal
The United Nations Office on drugs and Crime (UNODC) bases its work on the three international drug control conventions, the conventions against transnational organized crime and corruption and the international instruments against terrorism. UNODC’s mandate covers two broad areas: health and Rule of Law.
Some topics were unfolded from those areas, such as drug control and combating transnational organized crime, trafficking in human beings, corruption, money laundering and terrorism, in addition to the alternative development and prevention of HIV among drug users and people in deprivation of liberty.
The project is based on a national Portal on Aids (www.aids.gov.br), sexually transmitted diseases and viral hepatitis.
The system is based on web technology with instantaneous updates and doesn’t require the purchase of licenses for micro. To use it one only needs a browser (Internet browser such as Internet Explorer).
